A |
Well I never measured it, it must be 300 or 350 feet. |
Q |
Now describe the build of the man. |
A |
Well this man I thought was pretty broad shouldered, he had pretty fair shoulders on him, a man between 5 feet 8 and 10 inches tall. I thought he was a little stooped. |
Q |
Do you think you could recognize the man again if you should see him? |
A |
I would not want to positively recognize the man. I think I could a week afterwards or the next morning. |
Q |
But you don’t think you could recognize him now? |
A |
No, I wouldn’t want to positively recognize the man. |
Q |
What can you say as to whether the respondent Mr. Shimmel here resembles the man that you saw that night in general appearance as to build? |
A |
Well his height would fit the man pretty well. |
Q |
You say his height would fit him pretty well? |
A |
Yes, sir, his height. |
Q |
How about the width of him? |
A |
I thought this man was slightly heavier. |
Q |
Well he might have had more clothes on for that matter. That is all. |
