Dear Lizzie,
I will try & write you a few lines to let you know that I am well & hope you the same. Our school has been out two weeks on account of the teacher being sick. She had the Rheumatism, so she had to go home but they think there will be school in the morning. I hope so.
I commenced in that large Geography this term. I like very much. How do you like your teacher? Nora got a letter from Eva McClean & she said she liked him quite well. I send my love to Mary Malone. Ada & Cora would like to see Sadie & Nora awful well.
We have Sunday school every Sunday and preaching every 2 weeks in the evening so we have a chance to go some where. I suppose Sadie goes to school every day, doesn’t she. Ada goes most every day when school keeps. We have the same teacher this term that taught last term.
I would like to see your Ma’s silver wedding. Well I guess I will have to bring my letter to a close for Nora is in a hurry to read a story out loud. So, good by. Write soon.
Excuse bad writing. All mistakes
Good Bye
My ink is pail My pen is poor My love for you Shall never fail
