After so long a time I will write. I guess you will think that I had forgotten you but I have not. But was away the Sunday I promised to write. Well Lizzie, I suppose you have great times with Miss Fouges & Miss Timmerman I hear that you and Ella got the back seat. If Mina and Mary thought they would be so early and capture it. That was a good one on them.
I wish I was back there going to school. I tell you it is lonesome enough up here.
Nora is up to the town of Wright. She has been up there a week.
Pa thinks he will go to Muskegon this week Wednesday. Have you got that song learned yet and could you pick those chords out? I hear Mr. Timmerman is trying to turn Mr. Golden’s children out of school. I think he better take in a few more outsiders then keep his mouth shut. They are as good as Mary Fouges.
How are the people across the road getting along. I suppose Henery comes over to see Nora every day. Ada and Cora is awful lonesome for some one to play with. Does any children from Mrs. Hanchetts go to school. I suppose Orrie Fletchen has good success giving music lessons.
Does Sarah McCarthy come to school?
I suppose Homer comes every day that would please Mary if he does.
We was looking for Lucy and Lizzie today but they did not come. Nora was home but has gone back again. Lizzie I had a chance to work out today. P. M. Fletcher was after a girl but thought I didn’t care to go.
Mary Ann said you had birthday party. Suppose you had a nice time and got some nice presents.
I haven’t been to church yet. Lizzie I wish you could come up and stay all night. I guess I will have to close for this time for I cant of any more this time.
I remain your True Friend Mary
Ada is going to send a letter to Saddie
Write soon.
P. S. How is your hired man getting along? I think he is a Dandy.
