Sister Lizzie, --
I guess I will write you a few lines hoping when they reach you they will find you well as they leave me at present.
Well I received that once expected but later unexpected letter and when I answer it, it will be a cold day.
Johnie has quit his job because it turned out just as I expected “no pay” or not for him at least. Write oftener. It is as good practice as one can have. “So will I”
As the electric light works are broken down and it is getting dark I will close.
