Sister Lizzie, --
I received your letter and was pleased to hear from you and home as I did not hear from Mary yet.
Well we planted James Monahan today. I was pall Bearer. Aunt Kate Malone and Patsy was down. I went to the wake the first night. I heard they had a little excitement in the town of Coopersville one Sunday night not long since and Katie was in it. That is virtually. I do believe it not because I call the parties from which I heard it good authority, but because it seems natural.
I got a valentine and I think it was from Lizzie Golden,
From Mart
