My Dear Liz, I thought I would stay in the house this evening and write to you. I was out bumming around the streets every night last week. Lauty was up here all the week. We went home Saturday night and I came back this morning. Lauty went to work for J. B. Watson this morning in the Drug Store. I changed my boarding place last week. I am in three and one half blocks of my work now.
We are having nice cool weather now aren’t we? I saw your Father & Mother on the street Saturday afternoon. I didn’t work in the afternoon. You don’t go to C’Ville often do you. I haven’t seen you the last two times I have been home. I would like to see you oftener but I can’t come to Dennison very well. I wish I were working in Coopersville. I am getting tired of it here.
Well Lizzie I have written all I can think of so I will say Good By. (how do you like my shorthand) Very Truly Yours Let,,,,
