My Dear Lizzie, as I have more time than anything else I thought I would write a little to let you know I am still alive and hope you are as well. How did you get home Friday night? I presume it was nearer Saturday morning if you went with John. I was in bed at eleven o’clock. I went to North Park Sunday. There was two Balloon Asceusious, a lady and a Gentleman. There was an awful crowd there. I thought I would never get home unless I walked. But I crowded myself into a car after a while. The Dancing ran until two o’clock the next morning to bring to bring the crowd all down.
I saw Minnie McXxxxx and her sister up to the park. How is Mary and the rest of the folks after the fair. I suppose you will begin school next week. It looks as though I needed to by this writing. My hands are so stiff I can’t hold a pen.
Well Lizzie, I guess I will close for want of more to say. G.B.
Very Truly Yours Lester Mills.
