My Dear Friend Liz:
I received your long looked for letter night before last. I am very sorry to hear that you have been sick. I had begun to think you weren’t going to write any more. I was in Coopersville three days and did not hear any thing about you being sick. I went Friday morning before I came here. I expected you would be there going to school. I was very much disappointed at not seeing you before I came over here. I cant tell exactly when I will go home. I don’t think I will before two weeks. If you are going to school, I will probably see you then. I don’t like it here near as well as I do Gd Rapids. It is too airy here to suit me. I am afraid of being blown away. The factory has not started up yet. We have just been getting ready to run since I came here. The shop is three miles from the city at Muskegon heights. The electric streetcar runs out there. I have got a nice place to board in a private house at No. 90 Terrace St. It is only a block from the streetcar and near town too. Tell Mary I hope she will soon be well. I would like to see you both tonight. Well Lizzie, I guess this will be as much as you will care to read so I will close hoping to hear from you soon.
As Ever, Your Friend, Lester
Direct: No. 90 Terrace St., Muskegon, Mich.
