The above two receipts were found in an envelope.

 

Two receipts for Teachers’ Institute Fees.  One receipt dated Mar 5, 1891 for the school year ending September 1, 1891.  The other receipt dated Sept 26, 1890 for the school year ending September 1, 1891.  Both receipts were found in an envelope addressed to Miss Lizzie Golden, Dennison, Mich.  Printed on the upper left corner of the envelope was, Return in Five Days to H.A. Lewis, Ravenna, Mich.  The front of the envelope was postmarked Ravenna, Mich., March 18, 1891.  The back of the envelope was postmarked Dennison, Mich., March 18.  The envelope was stamped with a 2-cent stamp
