Dear Lizzie:
I thought I would answer your letter to night as it is too early to go to bed. I have been working to J. B. Watson’s today. Lauty has got the mumps. I expect to have them next but I can’t come down for three weeks so I am going to work in his place till he gets well. If you come up Friday night, come in the store. I want to see you before the dance. I hope you will come. I want to have a good time till I have the mumps. I don’t think I will go to the dance unless you come up. How is school this week. I presume you won’t get this letter till you come up yourself but I hope some one will send it to you. Well Lizzie I am getting sleepy so I will bid you good by for this time
Ever Yours L.W.M.
