Conklin, Dec 15th 1891
Dear Friend. –
It seems such a long time since I have seen you that I will try and write to you. How do you like going to school in Berlin, and how do you like the teacher. I am teaching the fourth week of the winter term. The school is very small. There are only 14 scholars. There is going to be a masquerade dance at Conklin the 24th of Dec. I think I will go. I wish you would come if you can. I am sure you will have a good time if you do.
I had a letter written to you before but didn’t mail it. I will close for this time hoping this will find you well as it leaves me.
From Your Friend Grace Bowser
P.S. John wants your brother to come to the dance for he would like to see him. If you answer this I will try and do better next time.
