Dear Friend as I haven’t much else to do this evening I thought I would answer your letter didn’t get around to write last week and I thought there was no use of writing the first of the week as you would not get to town before Friday how are you making it anyway I am glad to hear you like the school so much over there in God’s country I wish I could come and call on you some time when you did not expect any one I suppose you are always prepared for visitors but I can’t give you any such surprise this year we are so busy here I can’t get a day off to go home I haven’t lost an hour since I was home the last time and I have put in quite a little extra time I am going to try and go home one week from next Saturday if nothing happens I would like to go this week but I don’t think I can possibly. You spoke about my picture I am willing to exchange when I see you if you want to and I think one of your own pictures would cut quite a figure in my album when are you going to get some I just got my partner’s picture the other day. Well Lizzie I can’t think of a bit of news to write so I might as well quit I would like very much to be with you this evening but I don’t know when I can see you perhaps I can get away to come down to your house when I come home I hope so any way hoping to hear from you soon I am your true friend Lester M
