My dear Lizzie,
I guess you would never write to anyone unless you was forced to it, would you? I have looked for a letter every day since I came home but have looked in vain.
I begin school tomorrow again. Have had a week’s vacation. Enough for me.
My hands are so lame I can scarcely hold my pen in my hand. Rheumatism I think. Did you have any vacation? And how is school now? Good as ever? I see by the Observer that possibly you were quite happy now-a-days. How long will happiness continue. Do you play Drug Store anymore?
I don’t know whether or not there is any news to write you. Have not been where I could get any.
I suppose Old Santa Clause was good to you as usual. I will start for school in a few minutes so will close for this time. Remember me to all your people and write me a good letter.
With Love, Your Cora
