Dear Sister,
I thought I would write you a few lines to let you know that I am well, hoping these lines will find you and all the folks the same.
Mary said you were going to attend examination. I hope you will have good luck. I have forgotten when examination was to come off in Ottawa. Although we received a copy of the Observer after Maggie died, but I have forgotten the date of examination. Examination will be here 7 of March, which is tomorrow. Three weeks more after this and I will be home.
Is John home yet? The snow is almost gone down here, but very xxx weather for making sugar.
Good by Martin Golden
