My Dear Friend,
I hope you will pardon my negligence in thanking you for your kind remembrance of me by sending an invitation to the party. Well I should love to have gone but I could not. Of course I know you all had a nice time. I also wish to thank you for Harold’s picture. I think it is real cute for a baby so young. I presume he is quite a boy now. Is he good?
I was up to Culligans this afternoon. Everyone was well up there. Frank went to work Monday.
News up in this part of the world is a scarce article so my letter will have to be brief. Give my kindest regards to Will, accepting the same yourself. And kiss the baby for me. And that at this late hour I wish you all a Happy New Year. And will close.
Remaining as Ever Sincerely Julia A. Sullivan
Say when you have leisure moments just remember me among your correspondents.
Julia
