My dear cousin,

Seeing you were so prompt in answering my last letter, I thought I would bother you again by telling you I still exist.  Well; How is Will and Harold and all the rest of the people down there?  I presume they take up all your time and attention so you have none to spare.  I would like to go down there and make a visit but will wait until summer perhaps.

I was writing home to-day so thought I would write to you.  I don’t know whether I wrote since Dr. Dougher came here or not so will tell you something about him.  He has a very nice office with telephone and has a horse and buggy.  I have a ride in the country occasionally with him.  I was out to Mr. Odormells with him a short time ago. Mr. Odomell has been very sick and Dr. was attending him.  He is nearly well now.

Old Mrs. Glasgo has malaria fever and hopes of her recovery are doubtful.  You remember the little old lady who came to Mass every morning.  I was telling Dr. D last night if she did not go to heaven, we might never expect to get a look inside.  Father Malone is in Saginaw and she is anxiously waiting his return.  I sent him a telegram to come.

We have a telephone and electric lights in the house now, also lights in the church.  They are a great saving.  I do not have any lamps to clean now.  My girl went home a week ago Sunday so I am lonesome when I find myself alone again.  She was here ten mouths so I became very much attached to her and to having some one always around.

Mr. Ryan’s nice large house burned one night last week.  You remember the lady who took us out riding when you were here.  They lost everything.  Their Piano, clothes and all except Agnes’s wheel.  You know they have a furniture store in town now.  Of course they
