Crows in Winter
Like a burst of black confetti hurled into a blue sky's freezing morning at the tops of leafless, winterbranched maples, ash and cherry, three dozen crows are startled by the crunching footsteps on frozen crusted, snow-covered roadway below their scattering of black feathered flight. |
