The Golden Family Book is a collection of family information.  It includes the names of over 500 descendants of Michael Golden.  The information is broken down into six family groups.  One group for each of Michael's married children.  Since Anthony and Martin died as children working in the coal mines of Pennsylvania, there is very little information on them.  The other children, Mary, Michael, Patrick, Dennis, Catherine and John, each have sections in the Golden Family Book.

There are family trees for each of the married children.  Information from the 1860, 1870 and 1880 Polkton Township Census.  Information from the Ottawa County death records and from St. Mary's Cemetery in Marne.

The family trees include known dates and locations of births, marriages and deaths.  If pictures of individuals are available they are displayed next to the above information.  So far we have collected over 100 family and individual pictures.  Some of these pictures date back to the late 1800's and early 1900's.  Other sections of the Golden Family Book include family history.

The Golden Family Book will consist of a spiral bound clear plastic front cover, a solid color back cover and about 100 pages.  Since we will be printing on both sides of the page, the total page count will be approximately 200.

As you know, an order form was included with your invitation, so you may order as many Golden Family Books as you like.

The cut off date for ordering Books is May 31, 2002.

The cost for the Golden Family Book is $25.00 each.

Any Book orders that will NOT be picked up at the reunion should include an additional $5.00 for postage.
